THE ROLE

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for delivering web, and creative projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.  We move quickly, pivot when necessary, and value execution speed just as much as quality.You will be the central point of contact, coordinating multidisciplinary teams—including UX, creative, and development—to manage timelines, resources, and project scope. Your primary focus will be maintaining momentum, ensuring clear and consistent communication with the client, and proactively mitigating risks to ensure successful project execution.

Types of projects you’ll lead

As a Project Manager at Curious Orange, your portfolio will be diverse, fast-moving, and cutting-edge. You won't just be managing static websites; you will be driving cross-functional campaigns and technical builds. Typical projects include:

  • AI-Driven Marketing Tools & Tech Integrations: Managing the rollout of innovative marketing solutions that leverage AI.

  • High-Impact Brand Narrative Campaigns: Coordinating fast-turnaround creative production, asset generation, and media execution timelines for major tech giants and established brands.

  • Rapid Web & Interactive Builds: Leading web development projects from initial UX wireframes through creative design to final deployment, managing resources tightly to hit launch milestones.

  • Global resource management: Seamlessly aligning resource management and timelines across our Irish and US offices to ensure momentum on global client accounts.

Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution
Manage the entire project lifecycle for web initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.

Timeline and Budget Control
Develop detailed project plans, manage resource allocation, track progress against timelines, and monitor budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Team Coordination
Serve as the central hub for the project team, coordinating the work of creatives, UX designers, and developers to ensure cohesive and timely delivery of milestones.

Client Communication
Maintain clear, proactive, and professional communication with clients, providing regular updates on project status, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns promptly.

Risk Management
Identify potential project risks and challenges early, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.

Tool Proficiency
Maintain expert proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, Google Workspace) to track tasks, manage workflows, and report on project metrics.

Quality Assurance
Ensure all project deliverables, including creatives and functional elements, meet the high-quality standards required by the client and the agency.

Process Improvement
Contribute to the continuous refinement of project management methodologies and processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record
    of successfully delivering complex marketing projects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal,
    with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies
    (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Google Workspace).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically
    and make data-driven decisions.

  • A bias for action. You are a self-starter who moves projects forward independently and thrives in a flat, highly collaborative team structure.
